Se analiza el caso particular de Costa Rica, donde la legislación no define expresamente cuál es la naturaleza jurídica de las cuotas de la seguridad social. Se describe sucintamente en qué consiste el sistema de seguridad social nacional. Luego, se menciona cómo la jurisprudencia administrativa y judicial de nuestro país ha tratado el tema de la naturaleza jurídica de esas cuotas.
The particular case of Costa Rica is analyzed, where the legislation does not define specifically which is the legal nature of the social security quotas. We describe briefly how the national social security system operates. Later on we mention how the administrative and legal jurisprudence of our country has treated the subject of the legal nature of these quotas.
